20 medical college professors transferred

The Government has effected a major reshuffle at different levels in the medical colleges and hospitals in the State.

BHUBANESWAR: The Government has effected a major reshuffle at different levels in the medical colleges and hospitals in the State.The reshuffle has been effected in the ranks of dean, principal, superintendent and faculty members.As many as 20 professors have been transferred and some of them posted in new medical colleges in Koraput, Baripada, Balasore and Balangir.
Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Dr PC Mohapatra has been posted as in-charge Director of Regional Spinal Injury Centre (RSIC) at Cuttack and former Director of VIMSAR Dr Sonamali Bag has been posted as DMET.

Dean and Principal of MKCG Medical College and Hospital (MCH) at Berhampur Dr Arun Kumar Dandpat has been placed as Head of Radiotherapy and given additional charge of tertiary care centre at MKCGMCH while HoD of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM) Dr Radha Madhab Tripathy posted as in-charge Dean and Principal.In-charge Dean and Principal of Saheed Laxman Nayak MCH Dr Bijayeeni Mohapatra has been posted in place of Tripathy. In-charge Superintendent of MKCGMCH Dr Kshetrabasi Subudhi has been posted as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) in the same medical while Professor in Surgery Department Dr Charan Panda has been appointed as in-charge Superintendent.

Prof Ramesh Chandra Samantray of Anaesthesiology Department and Prof Sudhir Kumar Ghosh of Microbiology Department of VIMSAR have been posted as in-charge Superintendent of Government Medical Colleges at Balasore and Balangir respectively.Prof Rama Raman Mohanty of MKCG Physiology Department has been appointed as in-charge Dean and Principal of Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College at Baripada while Prof Punyanshu Mohanty and Prof KC Biswal have been posted as in-charge Superintendent in Baripada MCH and Koraput MCH respectively.
