BHUBANESWAR: Police arrested three persons from different areas in the Capital and seized a country-made pistol, a revolver and three live cartridges from them. They have been identified as Raja Sahoo (18), Pabitra Sahoo (38), natives of Balakati, and Parsuram Khatoi (38) of Delanga.
On a tip-off, a Quick Action Team (QAT) of Commissionerate Police received information that three armed miscreants were moving suspiciously in Balakati and Uttara on Thursday night. While Raja and Pabitra were nabbed from Balakati, Parsuram was caught from Uttara. QAT personnel said, informed Pabitra has criminal antecedents and Pipili police and Balianta police had registered cases against him. Similarly, Delanga police registered a case against Prabin. Raja is undergoing a course at Central Tool Room and Training Centre (CTTC) here.
