CHENNAI: Vinod Surana, CEO of Surana and Surana International Attorneys, based in Chennai, will lead a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) delegation of 27 leaders from Indian trade and industry to participate in the India- Latin America and Caribbean Conclaves from June 21 to July 3.
Leading Indian companies from the automobile, energy, food processing, hospitality, pharma, entertainment, logistics, mining and oil and gas sectors are participating in the conclave.
The conclaves, which are being supported by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of External Affairs, are intended to promote trade and commerce between Latin America and India. In recent years there have been several large Indian investments in Latin America from Essar Steel, Mittal Steel, the TATA, Mahindra and Mahindra, Ranbaxy, Infosys, Wipro, Escorts among others.
