Brand new CBSE school fee structure

For the first time, the Justice Singaravelu Private Schools Fee Fixation Committee announced the fee structure for CBSE schools in the State, here on Friday.

 The fee ranges from a minimum of Rs 6,050 for LKG in most schools up to Rs 36,000 for the higher classes in elite schools.

 The parameters for fixing the fees included the present amenities provided in the school, number of faculty and future development plans submitted to the committee.

  The lowest fees for LKG in the city has been fixed at Rs 8,200 for the Hindu Colony Chellammal Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School in Nanganallur and the highest for the same class is Rs 29,665 at Vidya Mandir, Mylapore.

 The highest fee for Class XII was Rs 36,000 fixed for PSBB, K K Nagar, followed by Rs 35,000 each for Vidya Mandir and Nation Public School.

 In Kancheepuram district, the highest fee stands at Rs 30,000 for class XII in Lalaji Memorial Omega International School.

 The lowest for class XII was Rs 16,000 at Sree Vatsa Viswanathan Vivekanda Vidyalaya.

 The lowest for LKG is at Rs 6,300, and the highest is Rs 23,225 at Mayfield Residential School and Good Earth School respectively.

 Among the three CBSE schools in Tiruvallur district, the lowest fee was fixed at Rs 6,050 for LKG at Vivekananda Vidya Kala Ashram.

 The highest in the district was for class XII at Sri Ramdayal Khemka Vivekananda School (Rs 13,420).

 Fees for CBSE schools in Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Erode, Krishnagiri, Madurai, Nagapattinam, Namakkal, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore and Villupuram were also announced.
