'1600 Candidates To Get Skill Training'

PUDUCHERRY: The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) will train 1600 students of Union Territory as part of their skill development programme. Dr M P Pillai, director of NIELIT told media on the sidelines of the function that a total of 8000 students will be trained in four years time. The target for the country is 3.28 lakh youth in the skill development programme undertaken in four years, he said and added the selected youth will be imparted training in electronic system design and manufacturing.
