PUDUCHERRY: JIPMER is all set to launch the Medical Council of India (MCI) Regional Centre for Faculty Development at the institute with an MCI Basic Course Workshop in Medical Education Technologies on Monday.
According to Dr B Geethanjali, HOD Medical Education, JIPMER, the institute will give faculty development training to the faculties of 17 Medical colleges from Puducherry and TN. This includes all the medical colleges from Puducherry and some from TN. Now that JIPMER is recognised by the MCI, in the place of a week-long training, it will be a three-day training programme as per MCI norms, said Dr Geethanjali.
