Nithya Annadhanam Launched at Temple

VELLORE: The Sri Jalakanteswarar Dharma Sthabanam launched a Nithya Annadhanam Scheme (daily free-meals) in the temple from Wednesday.

S. Sureshkumar, secretary of the Sthabanam said that Sri Balamuruganadimai, hereditary trustee of Sri Balamurugan Temple, Ratnagiri and Sri Sachidananda Swamigal, head, Kamalakanni Adheenam, Kalavai and president of the Jalakant-eswarar Dharma Sthabanam inaugurated the scheme and partook of the meals along with other devotees.

He said that devotees can now contribute to the scheme by remitting a sum of  `5,000 per day . Contributions have so far been received for 60 days in a year, he said.

The money can be paid either by cash, cheque or online to Savings Bank account number 15430 1000 0046 12 of Sri Jalakanteswarar Dharma Sthabanam, I.O.B., Fort Branch, Vellore (IFSC Code: IBA00001543).
