Dalit Youth's Murder: Mastermind's Brother Among 4 More Arrested

NAMAKKAL: The police nabbed four more persons in connection with the brutal murder of Dalit youth Gokulraj who was abducted and beheaded by a gang led by Yuvaraj, the founder of Dheeran Chinnamalai Gounder Peravai, before dumping the body on railway track at Pallipalayam.

“We have arrested four more persons involved in the murder of Gokulraj,” Superintendent of Police (SP) Senthilkumar told Express on Sunday.

The arrested men included 31-year-old Thangadurai, brother of Yuvaraj, the mastermind behind the ruthless murder. The other three are: V Sankar, 24, of Konganapuram, S Arulsenthil, 35, of Ayyampalayam, Edappadi, and P Selvakumar, 43, of Ayyampalayam, all from Salem district.

All the four were produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court-I at Namakkal town on Sunday and subsequently remanded in judicial custody.
