VELLORE: Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, Vellore conducted an awareness programme titled ‘Know Safety — No Accident’ for the benefit of the employees of Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), Ranipet on BHEL premises on Thursday. This is a joint initiative by the officials of the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health and the management of BHEL, Ranipet.
K Mysiah, Bharat Heavy Electricals Executive Director, while inaugurating the session said that understanding industrial safety and health as administered by the government will have an impact on the organisation’s safety culture. V Periyasamy, Joint Director of Industrial Safety and Health, explained the Factories Act comprehensively.
