SDAT Selection Trials for Admission to Sports Hostels

VELLORE: The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu will be conducting selection trials for schoolgirls who excel in sports on July 30, for the government run sports hostels spread across the State. 

According to district sports officer A Nagarajan, girl students of 7th,8th,9th and 11th standards who excel in hockey and weightlifting can participate in the selection trials at Pudukottai sports stadium at 8 am on July 30.

Applications for participating in the selection trials can be downloaded from the website ww.sdat.tn.gov.in and can be submitted to the selection officer on the day of selection at the stadium along with a fee of  `10. For more details about the hostels and admission, district sport office can be contacted.

Preference would be given to candidates who are 135 cm in height and above and have participated in the district, State and national level sports competitions in their specialty.
