COIMBATORE:As many as 12 trains travelling towards and from Coimbatore were delayed by four to five hours on Friday due to erosion from railway-track beds near Kalingarayan canal in Erode. Flow of floodwaters over tracks led to the ballast (crushed stones) and soil being carried away from under a track.
