PUDUCHERRY: The first meeting to redress complaints of land grabbing from both Indian and French citizens would be taken up on November 30, District Collector D Manikandan said.
Collector and Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and Order), officials and Revenue and police department will take up the grievances on land grabbing. Both the petitioner and the opposite party will be present. The grievances relating to unauthorised occupation or forced possession will be taken up. In the first meeting eight complaints would be heard. Documents submitted would be examined in the meeting along with field report submitted by officials and then appropriate action will be taken, said Manikandan.
