PUDUCHERRY: Anti microbial resistance would get focus at MICROCON 2015, the 39th National Conference of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM) to be held at JIPMER here between November 25 and 29.
According to a JIPMER release here on Saturday, microbiologists from all of medical colleges in Pondy wikk work for MICROCON.
According to Dr S C Parija, the organising chairman of the conference and Director, JIPMER, the conference will be themed on “Man vs Microbe: The Race for Supremacy”. The theme for the 2015 conference has been chosen with a view to gaining perspective on trends in antimicrobial resistance, the implications of microbial evolution for diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, the value of good infection control practices and the use of advanced molecular technology and bioinformatics as constructive epidemiological tools. About 1,300 delegates from India and abroad will be participate.
