CHENNAI: Former Union Minister D Napolean and a close relative of former Transport Minister and DMK heavyweight, KN Nehru, has been appointed as vice president of State BJP.
He joined the BJP in the presence of party’s national president Amit Shah in December, 2014. Former AIADMK MP K Malaisamy will be president of Election Wing of the State BJP.
State BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan has made these announcements on Thursday. Well known film music director Gangei Amaren has been appointed as patron of Cultural Wing of the State BJP while actress Kutti Padmini has been made vice president of Campaign wing.
Actress and choreographer Gayathri Raghuram will be the secretary of Cultural Wing. Film director Kasturi Raja, father of actor Dhanush has been appointed as one of the executive committee members of the State BJP. He will also function as the vice president of the Cultural Wing.
