SALEM: A 47-year-old government elementary school headmaster committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence at Omalur, here on Saturday night, as he couldn’t repay a loan.
The suicide came to light when his family returned home after shopping on Saturday night. His wife Uma (45), a teacher at a government higher secondary school near Mettur, and children saw him hanging from the ceiling.
