PUDUCHERRY:France and the UT have decided to develop Puducherry as one entity by converging the Smart City, AMRUT and Heritage schemes with active participation of the former. This was decided at meeting of a 31-member French delegation, led by Ambassador Francois Richier, with Puducherry government officials under chairmanship of Lok Sabha MP R Radhakrishnan on Thursday. Puducherry being a small city cannot be developed in parts as every aspect from drinking water supply, electricity, sewage and others were connected, said Radhakrishnan.
