No extension for Rosaiah, Maharashtra Governor to take additional charge of TN

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah completed his five year term today and his term has not been extended as expected.  

A communication from President’s office said : “Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra to discharge the functions of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Tamil Nadu are made.”

It also said that Governor of Gujarat, Om Prakash Kohli will function as the Governor for Madhya Pradesh in addition to his own duties.
