Indo-French Sailing regatta competition to be organized as part of Bonjour India festival

In Indo-French festival,  the boats will be manufactured in Puducherry and training would be given to the participants for the competition likely to be held sometime in January.

PUDUCHERRY: sailing regatta competition would be organized as part of  14 events in the third edition of Bonjour India festival in Puducherry, said Catherine Suard, Consul General at Puducherry and Chennai.

In Indo-French festival,  the boats will be manufactured in Puducherry and training would be given to the participants for the competition likely to be held sometime in January.

The events are based on three concepts of innovation, creativity and partnerships and is on three pillars of Smart Citizens, High mobility and Go Green.

Stating that the events will be jointly financed by French and Puducherry governments, she said that it would shape the relationship for the next 5 to 10 years.
