PUDUCHERRY: A Pondicherry University student was kidnapped and forced to perform oral sex at knife-point by a group of unknown men on the university campus on Tuesday, students said. The victim, a boy from Odisha, was said to be walking near the SRK Hostel at night when he was abducted by a few men on motorcycles and taken to a secluded spot near the playground.

Initially, the group snatched his phone and asked him to withdraw `5,000 and hand it to them. As the victim said he didn’t have money in his account, they pulled down their pants and forced him to perform oral sex on them by holding a knife to his throat.

The victim pleaded with them, saying he would give them money if they took him to his hostel. As they reached the hostel, the victim alerted his friends and tried to catch them. But the gang managed to escape.
“He does not want to talk about the incident or reveal his identity. He is a postgraduate student and is only a few months old on campus,” Prabha Bharathi, president of the university unit of SFI, said on Facebook.

When contacted by Express, Anisha Basheer Khan, Vice Chancellor in charge of the university, said, “Vigilance and security are responsibilities of the officer on special duty (an SP-rank official).”P5
