Ruling faction to submit GC meet resolutions to EC soon

A team of senior ministers and functionaries of the ruling faction of the AIADMK is likely to visit Delhi within a few days to file the resolutions, adopted at the general council meeting held on September 12, before the Election Commission of India.

CHENNAI: A team of senior ministers and functionaries of the ruling faction of the AIADMK is likely to visit Delhi within a few days to file the resolutions, adopted at the general council meeting held on September 12, before the Election Commission of India.

Ministers RB Udhayakumar and C Vijaya Basker, K P Munusamy, Thalavai N Sundaram and Manoj Pandian held discussions on Wednesday on the preparations to be made for filing the resolutions adopted at the GC meeting to redeem the ‘Two Leaves’ symbol of the party, which was frozen in March. Translation of the resolutions was over and the documents to be annexed while submitting the resolutions were also ready, party sources said. Both the factions had filed 10 lakh affidavits before the EC on the dispute.
