TIRUNELVELI: BJP National Secretary and MP Bhupender Yadav today said the party will face the next Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu with allies.

The alliance issue would be decided after holding discussions with members of Sakthi Kendra (comprising grass-root workers) in the state, he told reporters here.

BJP president Amit Shah had on Monday held discussions with Sakthi Kendra members in Chennai.

"A decision about allies in Tamil Nadu would be taken in October," Yadav, a Rajya Sabha MP, added.

The BJP leader, who garlanded the statue of Veeran Azhagumuthu Kone, a freedom fighter, said the government led by Narendra Modi wanted inclusive development of the country.

"We want to give respect to languages of all states. Religions and work for the development of the states. Irrespective of who ruled the state," he added.
