CHENNAI: “No power can separate me from my fans,” said actor Rajinikanth in a letter to his fans, which was released in the Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) Twitter account on Friday.“I express my thanks to my fans who understood the truth even though it was bitter. And no power can separate me and you (fans). God will help us,” he said.
It may be recalled that he said in a letter to fans on October 23 that disciplinary action (against some office-bearers of his outfit) had been taken with his knowledge. He issued the clarification in the wake of much heartburn caused by sacking of a few functionaries of the fan club. However, Rajini’s letter was criticised by the DMK’s party mouthpiece on Friday, which said the actor had cheated long-time functionaries of his fan club.
