WARANGAL: The authorities of the Telangana State Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSNPDCL) say that the ‘Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition’ (SCADA) in the distribution of power may be implemented in about six months in Warangal city.
It may be recalled that the Centre, in November 2011, had sanctioned Rs 12.47 crore for the implementation of SCADA system to facilitate centralised data collection which improves system stability, easy accessibility to every consumer, instantaneous collection of parameters like voltage, current, power, etc.
Though the actual deadline for the completion of the project was June 12, 2014, it was extended to December 2014.
