KARIMNAGAR: In a ghastly accident, four youngsters, who were travelling in a tractor were hit by a bike from the rear side after which the tractor lost control and overturned, leading to their death.
All the four youth fell into a roadside well which was brimming due to the recent rains, and drowned.
The incident occurred on Friday night at Duddenapally in Saidapur mandal.
According to sources, all the four were in inebriated condition when the accident occurred.
Koheda ASI Rajender and head constable Nawab, who were on the bike, escaped with minor injuries. They informed Saidapur SI N Sridhar.
In the incident, the tractor owner escaped.
The deceased were identified as Konkati Srikanth (22), Machamalla Raghu(25), Pilli Santhosh (26) and Bolli Raju (19), all auto drivers.
