HYDERABAD: A 33-year-old software engineer was arrested by the Cyberabad Police for allegedly live streaming sexual acts with his wife, without her knowledge, on a porn site for money, police said.
Police said the techie, a resident of Chintal in Jeedimetla area, had offered his services as a male escort because he was broke. When it did not work out, he registered himself on a porn website through which he could live stream videos for money.
The accused positioned his laptop to face his unsuspecting wife in their bedroom and live streamed the act. The woman was not aware of being filmed as the accused used to play a movie on the laptop, said Cyberabad cyber crime ACP S Jayaram.
The woman, also a techie, learned of her explicit videos last November after her friend from Kerala informed her, police said.
“The evidence established that the techie had been doing this for around six months before his wife complained. Based on the IP address of the video link and also videos and pictures recovered from the techie’s laptop and mobile, he’s been sent to judicial remand,” ACP Jayaram said.
