HYDERABAD: As social media is playing an active role in moulding people’s opinion, the Congress has decided to appoint 50,000 social media coordinators from booth-level to the state-level. The party also decided to form WhatsApp groups in all 31,656 polling booths across the State.

In accordance with AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s directive, TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy asked his party leaders to ensure that party units in each mandal and district across the State become active on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube henceforth.

“All the 50,000 social media coordinators, who are being appointed, should use social media appropriately to expose TRS government’s failure.
