TRS woman MLA, aides abuse, attack toll plaza staff

The MLA who was on her way to Hyderabad, got impatient when her vehicle had to wait  in the queue at the Renikunta toll plaza on Rajiv Rahadari Karimnagar district.

KARIMNAGAR: A woman legislator of the ruling TRS Bodiga Shobha on Tuesday abused a toll plaza employee allegedly for not allowing her vehicle to pass without following the queue.   The MLA and her husband encouraged their gunman to attack the employee.The MLA, who represents Choppadandi constituency in Karimnagar district, was on her way to Hyderabad, got impatient when her vehicle had to wait  in the queue at  the Renikunta toll plaza on Rajiv Rahadari in the district. 

She picked up an argument with employees and one of the employees reportedly used offensive language against her, following which she lost her cool and shouted at them.   She along with husband encouraged their gunman to attack the  employee. They chased another employee and snatched his mobile phone as he was making a video recording of the incident. The incident was also captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the toll plaza.

The MLA defending her action claimed that they had not attacked the employee but  reacted after the later started abusing them.  “ As I was getting late for a meeting in Hyderabad, I requested them to allow me, but they used filthy language,’’  she said. Meanwhile, rural ACP T Usharani who visited the place, said no case was registered as the toll gate staff did not lodge any complaint. However, the video footage of the MLA and her security persons attacking the employee captured on CCTV went viral on social media.
