NIZAMABAD: All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Digvijaya Singh came down heavily on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, and asked the CM the reason as to why he was on the same wavelength as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ever after demonetisation. “KCR supported demonetisation only to exchange his black money. Modi and KCR have a better understanding, now.

Both are working in tandem with each other with regard to not implementing their promises made various sections of people, during general polls,” he said.

While kick-starting the party’s 10-day-long agitations, “Jana Avedana Sammelan” public meetings, from Nizamabad on Sunday, Singh said: “KCR has forgotten all the promises he had made. He is busy providing benefits to his family,” he alleged. While addressing the public meeting organised at

Collector Office Grounds in Nizamabad, Digvijaya alleged that both the governments at Centre and in the State had failed on all fronts. He said PM Modi was providing benefits only to corporate companies.  Singh alleged that PM Modi had come up with a new strategy to divide India.

“BJP is encouraging All Indai Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in national politics to implement this agenda. They contested in Bihar. MIM is playing the same role in UP polls now,” he claimed.
