Transwoman pushed from running train

A 35-year-old transgender was critically injured after allegedly being thrown out of a running train by a passengers near Raghunathapalli in Jangaon district on Tuesday.

WARANGAL: A 35-year-old transgender was critically injured after allegedly being thrown out of a running train by a passengers near Raghunathapalli in Jangaon district on Tuesday.

The transgender has been shifted to MGM hospital Warangal by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
According to sources, the transgender Rakshana, a resident of Chandanagar in Hyderabad, was traveling in Patna Express, when a youth after some argument pushed her out of the train. Rakshana suffered severe injuries on his head and ribs.

However, Kazipet GRP personnel claim that the transgender slipped from the train and that he was not pushed by a passenger. The police is investigating the matter.
