Woman in Hyderabad dies under suspicious circumstances

A woman died under suspicious circumstances by falling off from the Palace Heights building in Abids police limits on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Alamkrutha.

HYDERABAD: A woman died under suspicious circumstances by falling off from the Palace Heights building in Abids police limits on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Alamkrutha.

According to police, passerby and locals noticed the victim lying in a pool of blood and unconscious. Police visited the incident spot and found the victim dead. The woman’s body was shifted to mortuary for post mortem. A case of suspicious death has been registered and investigation is underway.

In another incident, a 25-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Mailardevpally police limits on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as K Umadevi.

According to police, Umadevi was married to K Krishna, resident of Vijayawada. The couple had disputes and Umadevi went to her parents residence located in Mailardevpally police limits.

On Friday, Krishna told Umadevi that he would marry another woman during arguments. Depressed, the victim committed suicide while she was alone at home.

When her parents returned, they found her hanging to the ceiling. Her body was sent for post mortem.
