Hyderabad boy tops Andhra Eamcet in engineering stream

Students from Telangana have topped in the Engineering stream of AP Eamcet 2017, the results of which were announced here on Friday by HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao.

VIJAYAWADA: Students from Telangana have topped in the Engineering stream of AP Eamcet 2017, the results of which were announced here on Friday by HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao
Surprisingly, there is no girl student in the top 10 list of engineering stream. 


Of all the 1.9 lakh registered students for engineering stream, 1.8 lakh students have appeared and 1.4 lakh students have been qualified. A total 18,598 candidates from Telangana registered for AP Eamcet while 17,356 appeared for the exam, and 15,216 have been qualified. 


V Mohan Abhyas from Hyderabad secured first rank in Eamcet engineering category by scoring 153.9 marks in Eamcet and 96.99 combined score. 


SSV Bharadwaj from Kothagudem district secured second rank by scoring 96.50 combined score. Similarly three students from Telangana found place in the top 10 list of agriculture and medical stream.
For the first time, the AP Eamcet was conducted through online mode from April 24 to April 28 across the state


The counselling would start from third week of May and the classes would start by June 19.
