HYDERABAD: The state government submitted to the High Court that the appellants had suppressed the material facts and they had not approached the court with clean hands with regard to land acquisition in Goliwada village in Peddapally.

Additional advocate general of Telangana, J Ramachandra Rao, during the hearing by the vacation bench of Justice Challa Kodanda Ram and Justice N Balayogi over the appeal of the aggrieved farmers, who had challenged dismissal of their miscellaneous petitions by a single judge and the letter issued by CCLA, stated that some of the appellants had already taken compensation towards their lands.
Out of 119 farmers, about 84 had already received the compensation and only few farmers were creating hurdles for the project works with a malafide intention, he submitted.
