Heat wave conditions to prevail in Telangana

 Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at a few places in all the districts of Telangana in the next 24 hours, India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Hyderabad Centre has said.

HYDERABAD: Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at a few places in all the districts of Telangana in the next 24 hours, India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Hyderabad Centre has said. IMD has said heat waves would continue on Thursday at a few places in the state. 

On Wednesday, mercury levels in Hyderabad touched 39.2 degree Celsius. The Automatic Weather Stations of Telangana State Development Planning Society recorded temperatures above 45, 46 degree Celsius in Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Suryapet, Jayashankar, Mahbubabad, Bhupalpally, Khammam, Nalgonda and Suryapet. Nalgonda recorded highest temperature at 44.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
