Three killed in two separate accidents in Telangana

Three persons were killed in two separate accidents at Hyderabad and Vikarabad on Saturday.

HYDERABAD: Three persons were killed in two separate accidents at Hyderabad and Vikarabad on Saturday.  

A driver from Khammam was killed when his DCM van rammed a metro pillar at LB Nagar.  In another incident at Chevella, two persons travelling in an auto were killed when a speeding lorry hit the auto. 

B Saidulu (27) was taking a load of scrap in a DCM van  from Khammam to deliver it at a scrap godown at Chaderghat in Hyderabad. When the vehicle reached DMart shopping mall in LB Nagar at around 4 a.m. on Saturday, he lost control over the wheel  and rammed a metro pillar.

The passersby alerted the police, who called for a crane and retrieved the body of Saidulu. It is suspected that he might have dozed off.  However, a case been registered and investigation is on,  police said. 

In the second accident, at Mudimyal village of Vikarabad district on Saturday morning, a speeding lorry and an auto had a head-on collision, resulting in the death of two youngsters. The deceased identified as Shaik Jameel (28) and Mohiudddin (30), along with their friends Karim, Imran and Ilyias were returning home in Vikarabad from Hyderabad.  

The auto they were travelling collided with a lorry ccoming in the opposite direction. Vikarabad police said due to the impact of the collision, the auto was crushed.
