HYDERABAD: Telangana police today said they have arrested two persons from Gujarat on the charge of creating obscene websites and publishing morphed objectionable photos of Tollywood film actresses.

In the first week of October, the Movie Artist Association (MAA) of Tollywood had filed a complaint with the state CID, saying that several websites had posted morphed vulgar pictures of actresses and are also attaching derogatory write-ups, after which a case was registered.

"During the course of the investigation, it was found that Thakor Mahesh Kumar and Thakor Balusinh created few websites, and were publishing morphed obscene images of film actresses.

The accused were arrested from Visnagar town of Gujarat and brought to Hyderabad on transit warrant and remanded in Hyderabad," an official release said.

The accused resorted to such crime thinking that hits to the sites are fetching them money to the tune of Rs 35,000 per month, police said adding four laptops, two phones, and other incriminating documents used in the commission of offence were seized from them.
