Telangana IAS officers decry attack on Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash

Telangana State IAS Officers’ Association has strongly condemned the alleged physical assault on Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash on Tuesday by two ruling Aam Aadmi Party MLAs.

HYDERABAD: Telangana State IAS Officers’ Association has strongly condemned the alleged physical assault on Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash on Tuesday by two ruling Aam Aadmi Party MLAs.
“What makes it even more condemnable is the fact that it took place in front of the chief minister (Arvind Kejriwal) and deputy chief minister at the residence of the chief minister at the midnight hour,” the association said in a press release issued here on Wednesday.

“It appears that the assault was a pre-meditated act in order to bully, by use of force, the highest authority in the official executive to surrender to the irregular demands of the political executive for their self-interest.It is actually an attack on the institutional structure of our democracy,” TS IAS Officers’ Association honorary secretary Navin Mittal said.
