HYDERABAD: Congress continues to witness differences of opinion among its seniors with regard to allotment of party tickets for the ensuing Assembly/Lok Sabha polls.

On Tuesday, during a meeting, in the presence of newly appointed AICC secretary Bose Raju, party seniors expressed different views on who should be fielded from the two seats. Party leader Sarve Satyanaranaya wanted former minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy to contest the upcoming polls from Chevella seat, while Sabitha’s followers opposed the same.

Likewise, Satyanarayana backed the candidature of former minister G Prasad Kumar from Vikarabad Assembly seat.

After the meeting, V Hanumantha Rao said he would support whatever decision is taken by AICC high command on putting up former cricketer Azharuddin or Hyderabad Congress president Anjan Kumar Yadav from Secunderabad LS seat. But, Satyanarayana wanted the seat to be given to Anjan.
