Minister of railways, coal and finance Piyush Goyal to launch development work

Goyal will launch various railway developmental works, passenger amenities and facilities and flagging off the extended run of the Kacheguda-Nizamabad Passenger train up to Karimnagar.

HYDERABAD: Minister of railways, coal and finance Piyush Goyal will launch various railway developmental works, passenger amenities and facilities and flagging off the extended run of the Kacheguda-Nizamabad Passenger train up to Karimnagar at a function to be held at the Secunderabad railway station at noon on Friday.

The minister will also dedicate LED lighting at all railway stations and service buildings in Telangana to the nation,   Wi-Fi at 20 rural railway stations, RCC washable apron with coach watering facility on Platform No.7 at Secunderabad.

Besides, he will dedicate two passenger lifts on Platform Numbers 1 and 10 at Secunderabad, lay the foundation stone for the fourth foot overbridge (FoB) at Secunderabad station, present the Platinum Green Rating Certificate of CII-IGBC to Secunderabad station (first railway station in India) and dedicate 400 KWP solar plant at Kacheguda station. He will also dedicate a passenger lift on Platform numbers 4/5, and inaugurate bio-toilets.
