HYDERABAD: TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy chastised TRS senior leader KT Rama Rao, saying that the latter was speaking arrogantly and irrationally presenting Congress’ allies as Andhra parties. He stressed that while Congress gave Telangana without any restrictions on Hyderabad, KCR and KTR are looting the state, hiding under the mask of Telangana.

“Does L Ramana belong to AP? Are Kodandaram and Chada Venkat Reddy from AP? KCR and his son KTR are speaking fallaciously. In the garb of Telangana, the KCR family is looting Telangana. KTR was in America. He came here when his father appeared to gain power.

KTR is speaking arrogantly and acting beneath his dignity. Telangana people are observing the autocratic ways of KCR family and gearing up to put and end to it,” said Uttam, speaking after inducting several leaders from undivided Karimnagar district into Congress.

Uttam said that miffed and humiliated by KCR’s family members, everyone will desert TRS soon and while KCR will be confined to his farmhouse, KTR will go back to America.

As Congress has decided to complete seat-sharing talks and announce its candidates list on November 1, party’s Telangana affairs in-charge RC Khuntia has finalised the contestants list for all 119 constituencies and sent it to AICC’s Central Election Committee on Sunday.

With just one name being proposed for each constituency, these leaders will be the Congress’ candidates most probably. However, the selected candidates in constituencies which will go to allies may have to relent once seat sharing details are out. These contestants were finalised after taking responses from more than 2.20 lakh Congress leaders and workers using party’s in-house Shakti app.

Meanwhile, already a message containing list of probable Congress and TDP contestants has started doing rounds on social media, becoming the talking point in TS political circles.
The second phase of Congress campaign from October 30 TPCC campaign committee will launch the second phase of election campaign from October 30 at Medchal. The campaign will go on till November 11. The campaign committee will cover Medchal, Madhira, Adilabad,  Boath, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Mancheriyal, Khammam and other areas in the second phase.

Meanwhile, TPCC campaign committee chief Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, campaigning in LB Nagar constituency urged people to decide whether they want a government which is close to people or a CM who sleeps in farmhouse. TPCC also held an awareness session to equip its spokespersons and select office bearers with the strategy to be followed during polls.

TPCC questions TRS chief KCR’s Delhi visit
Ponnam Prabhakar raised doubts over TRS chief KCR’s Delhi visit. “While people from all over the world come to LV Prasad Eye Institute for eye treatments, KCR is going to Delhi. He should clarify
whether his Delhi trip is for eye treatment or for any secret political meeting,” Ponnam Prabhakar said
