Non-Stop Music Explodes Through the Village

Music surely knows the language of the youth. Give them their dose and they’re good to go. Events company Subculture, and TLR Cafe Lounge and bar are giving you, not one, but three days of music, from day to night, as part of their Capsule X Music festival, that brings artistes like Avi & The Uprising, Solo Indien, Big Bang Blues, Five8, Jester, Wait for It, Flexi K, Blue Breakfast, Kamakshi Khanna Collective, Kern Dalton Collective, Psy Chai Shop, Stuti Sud, Woody Accouche Project and others on one stage.

Gearing up for the show, are two men—Gautam Aurora, the  owner of TLR, and Manu Mathew, the co-founder of Subculture, both of whom are drinking more and sleeping less, in preparation of the three-day music mania. “Capsule X signifies the brewing pot for the expanding music scene in Delhi. It’s about planting a seed of creativity by getting multiple artistes under one roof and hoping it leads to becoming a haven for budding talent,” says Aurora.

Fifty artistes and 13 bands will include national and international names.  ‘‘This is the beginning. We wish to turn the festival into a quarterly one and bring in many more performers,’’ says Mathew.
