India, the land of striking diversity, the place of intriguing sights and a nation of great historic splendour, has always influenced Sadhana Mehta’s life a great deal. As the founder of The Wishlist, an upcoming lifestyle exhibition, she has travelled through India extensively, with her feet never once giving way.

Maybe they’re keeping pace with her heart that always races for more. In her exhibition, she curates works by some of the artisans she met on her incredible journey, along with urban homegrown brands.

From her most recent trips, she’s bringing to you Salauddin Ansari and Its All About Weaves ( IAAW) from Varanasi, Capra and Ritu Kedia from Jaipur, Gopi Vaid from Mumbai, Mukesh Block Prints from Uttar Pradesh and Aavaran from Udaipur.

Because the new edition is a rakhi and teej offering, you have special festive goodies by Diti by Diti Mishra with handmade rakhis and lumbas, along with necklaces, and NRK Crafted’s rakhi merchandise. Other names and labels include Balance by Rohit Bal, The Design Foundry, Strange Shrew, Gopi Vaid, Inchietape, Urvashi Kaur, Kora by Anjali Kalia, S M Jewellers, Aavaran-Ehoes of Rural India and Capra.

“This is a great pre-festival shopping extravaganza, and it’s all Made in India. Ever since we launched in 2015, we’ve been promoting homegrown brands, she says.
