Walk into Pullman New Delhi Aerocity and you come across the perfect mix of luxury and convenience. It is the place if you are looking for comfort and class. And if you are one of those who want some really brilliant food on a Sunday afternoon, then Pullman’s Pluck, the modern day eatery with Pling, the vibrant lux-lounge, is the place.
The spread boasts Mexican, Indian, Asian, European, Italian all under one roof. Not to mention, the countless sinful delicacies that beckon you from the dessert corner.
We tried quite a few cocktails which had the perfect blend of refreshing fruitiness and the lingering hint of good quality alcohol. One of these were Watermelon Basil Thunder. Unlike other places that rob you of alcohol content, Pluck & Pling struck the right balance.
In the main spread, the fresh salad bar and the antipasti with the cured salmon was good. The Prawns in Lemon Butter Sauce were sautéed just right with the softness retained. An array of freshly-baked breads made a nice statement with the cheese platter.
Beside the global taste of pork belly and chicken roulade, there was the Tandoori Raan, Chicken Biryani and Baigan aur Mirch ka Salan, pastas and an extremely well done hakka noodles, a very simple dish that is difficult to pull off.
Must try dishes include Grilled Tuscan Chicken and Zuppa di Porcini. For those with a sweet tooth, the selection brings Chocolate Mousse, Baked Cheese Tart, Lemon Cake, Tiramisu, and Plum Tart that stole the show. The very Indian Gulab Jamun and Moong Dal Halwa was good too.
