The World Health Organization said the 10th Ebola outbreak in DRC does not currently constitute a public health emergency of international concern.
The health ministry's General Directorate for Combatting Disease said 103 cases of Ebola had been recorded in the eastern DRC as of August 22, 76 of which had been confirmed by laboratory tests.

Six samples taken from hospitalised patients arrived in Kinshasa for analysis by the National Institute of Biomedical Research, and four tested positive for Ebola virus.
