15 killed in Cairo violence

At least 15 people, including street vendors and store staffers, were killed in violence Monday evening in downtown Cairo, Xinhua reported.

"The fight started when vendors attempted to establish their stands outside a large cosmetic store in Moski area in central Cairo, and the store owner shot dead two of them," a security source said.

Angry vendors then set fire to the store while the owner was inside, killing him and 12 of his workers.
