22 killed in China house fire

BEIJING: At least 22 people were killed on Sunday in a house fire in China's Jiangsu province, police said.

The fire broke out at 4.32 a.m. in a two-storey house in Changshu city, reports Xinhua news agency.

Three others were also injured in the incident, the police said.

The fire has been put out and a probe into the cause of the blaze is underway.
