Six school children missing in Myanmar flood

The four boys and two girls were caught in a strong current on Friday while crossing a flooded creek in Saw town, Xinhua news agency reported.

YANGON: Six school children have gone missing in a flood which occurred in central Myanmar, media reported on Saturday.

The four boys and two girls were caught in a strong current on Friday while crossing a flooded creek in Saw town, Xinhua news agency reported. Another school girl was found alive.

A search and rescue operation is underway.
