To mark the first anniversary of the Honda Amaze, Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has introduced a special ‘Anniversary edition’ of the compact sedan.

This special new edition gets sporty body-kit including all-round skirting, door visors and new exhaust tips. The interiors get premium upholstery and wood finish accents on the dashboard. The car also gets an ‘Anniversary edition’ emblem to distinguish it from the regular Amaze.

Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, HCIL, said: “Honda Amaze has been a game-changer in its segment and has enabled HCIL to reach out to so many new customers, bringing them into the Honda fold. We are delighted to introduce the new ‘Anniversary edition’ amongst customers to celebrate its success.”

The Honda Amaze comes powered with a 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine and also marks the company’s entry into the Indian diesel engine segment with its 1.5L i-DTEC oil-burner. The car has received positive response in the country and since its launch in April last year has sold over 80,000 units. The Honda Amaze ‘Anniversary edition’ will be available in both petrol and diesel options, at Rs 71,861 over the price of the standard ‘VX’ and ‘S’ variants, which range between Rs 7.08 lakh and Rs 8.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
