BENGALURU: Pet lovers across Bengaluru had a fun-filled weekend at the 4th Bangalore Pet Show 2017 at the Manpho Convention Centre near Manyata Tech Park.
This pet show had different breeds of dogs, cats, birds and fish. More than 150 dogs and about 200 cats participated.
Feline lovers were thrilled that for the first time in Bengaluru, a show was dedicated just to cats. The Second International cat show was conducted by the Cat Fancier’s Association of India (CFAI). Ajinkya Chopade, who is a part of the CFAI team says, “This is the first time we’re conducting a cat show in the city.
The competitions we have are based on long and short fur cats, and we even have one for the oldest cat in the city. About 70 cats participated”.
One could also spot different, exotic birds at the show. Birds such as the Moluccan Cockatoo, African Love Birds and the Sulphur Crested Cuckatoo were an absolute treat to the eyes.
