Newly appointed Corporate AffairsMinister Sachin Pilot today said that all investigationsrelated to companies in India will be conducted in a"transparent" manner and without any bias.

"Laws are already in place and the investigations,whatever under the ministry, will be done in a transparentfashion with no biases and full sincerity," Pilot told PTIhours after being shown as Minister Of State (Independentcharge) for Corporate Affairs.

He said the ministry will be open to discussions with thecorporate world, individuals and all other stakeholders. "Wewill find the best way in moving ahead," Pilot said.

The MCA acts as the nodal ministry for bodies likeRegistrars of Companies, Serious Fraud Investigation Office(SFIO) and Competition Commission of India (CCI), which aremandate to regulate entire corporate sectors.

The ministry recently launched probe to trace the sourceof funding for Maharashtra-based Purti Power and Sugar Ltd(PPSL), run by BJP President Nitin Gadkari's firm.

"As a minister, my aim would be to have completetransparency in functioning. This ministry is an enablingdepartment," the young Congress minister said.

Some of the major issues before the ministry includesintroduction of new Companies bill and changes in CompetitionAct.

Pilot represents Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency ofRajasthan.
