Entry-Level Appointments Freshersworld Guides You

Job portals are aplenty. But if you are just out of college, choice may be limited. Startup firm, Freshersworld.com, intends to cater to purely for entry-level employees. Started as a career information blog in 2006, it transformed into a jobsite in 2010. It has two offices, one each in Kochi and Bengaluru and counts Toshiba, EMC2, Huawei, Practo and Portea Medical as clients. About 2,500-3,000 live jobs are posted every month.

“Most of those entering the job market, including technically-qualified graduates from top-end engineering institutes, are drifting towards jobs like sales and call centres at e-commerce companies, to gain experience and develop soft skills,” said Joby Joseph, Founder & CEO, Freshersworld.com.

According to Joseph, JobForAll, a smart hiring solution for entry-level positions, promises to be a game-changer. Unlike traditional portals that offer a bulk database from which the HR has to manually sift through thousands of resumes for the most-relevant profiles, ‘JobForAll,’ provides a multi-touch point hiring solution that eliminates unnecessary and unproductive efforts and helps identify relevant profiles with an automated, twin-mapping mechanism.

It follows “the recruitment opportunity business model,” where, the company charges firms for recruiting people, or conducts recruitment drives.

The website also provides a premium service option to employers and connects the right employee to the prospective employer, thus saving them the pain of sifting through hundreds of CVs. The jobsite is on its way to raise $4-5 million and is in talks with prospective investors.
